Terms and Conditions

The terms on which we provide this website, our courses and the learning portal.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. These terms

This website and the BankShaala learning portal are operated by BFSIJob Education LLP. BankShaala is a brand of that firm.

By using this website, creating an account, or enrolling in a course, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the platform.

2. What we provide

BankShaala provides online educational courses in banking, financial services, insurance and financial technology. Access is delivered through our learning portal, and includes video lessons, written material and assessments as described on the relevant course page.

Students are certified upon successful completion of their course. A BankShaala certificate records that you completed the course and the level at which it sits. It is a platform certificate. It is not a degree, a diploma, a licence, or a qualification accredited or recognised by any government body, regulator or university.

3. What we do not provide

We want to be explicit about this, because education providers in this sector are often unclear about it.

  • We do not guarantee employment, placement, an interview, or any particular career outcome. Nothing on this website or in any course should be read as such a promise.
  • We do not guarantee any particular salary, increment or promotion.
  • Our course content is educational. It is not financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and must not be relied on as a recommendation of any product or institution.
  • We do not act as an intermediary, distributor or adviser for any financial product.

4. Your account

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that happens under your account.

Your account and your course access are personal to you. You may not share, transfer, sell or allow anyone else to use your login. Where we detect credential sharing, we may suspend access.

Please tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.

5. Fees and payment

Course fees are shown on the relevant course page and are payable in advance. Fees are stated in Indian Rupees and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

Payments are processed by a third party payment gateway. Your access to a course is activated once we receive confirmation that payment has succeeded.

We may change our fees at any time. A change does not affect a course you have already paid for.

6. Course content and intellectual property

All course material, including videos, slides, written notes, assessments, graphics and the design of this website, is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by law.

You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to access and use the material for your own learning for the duration of your access.

  • You may not record, download, copy, reproduce, republish or distribute any course material.
  • You may not share your access with anyone else, or make the material available to any other person or organisation.
  • You may not use the material to teach, train or create a competing course or product.
  • Our videos carry anti-piracy protection, including a visible watermark identifying the account viewing them. Attempting to circumvent these measures is a breach of these terms.

7. Acceptable use

You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully. You may not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, interfere with its operation, upload anything malicious, or use it to harass any other user or member of our team.

We may suspend or terminate access where these terms are breached. Where we do so because of a serious breach, no refund is due.

8. Availability

We aim to keep the platform available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Maintenance, updates and circumstances beyond our control may cause interruptions.

We may update, improve or change course content. Where a change materially reduces what a course offers, we will tell enrolled students.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

Subject to that, our total liability to you in connection with a course is limited to the fee you paid for that course. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of earnings, loss of opportunity, or loss arising from any decision you take based on course content.

10. Third party links

This website may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, their accuracy, or how they handle your information.

11. Changes to these terms

We may revise these terms from time to time. The revised version applies from the date it is published on this page. If a change materially affects your rights as an enrolled student, we will tell you directly.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra shall have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.

13. Contact

If you have a question about these terms, please get in touch through the contact page on this website.

These terms are provided for transparency and are not legal advice.
