We teach BFSI the way it is actually done.
There is a gap between what a finance degree teaches and what a bank needs on day one. BankShaala exists to close it.
Bright young people know the theory. Very few have seen how a branch, a credit desk or a payments team actually works. We built BankShaala to close that gap, one course at a time.
The ramp-up nobody budgets for.
Ask any branch head what happens when a new graduate joins. Week one is systems access. Week two is shadowing. By week six they can open an account under supervision, and somewhere around month three they stop asking what the difference is between a lien and a hold.
None of that is the graduate's fault. A commerce syllabus does not explain why a bank cares so much about current account balances, what the KYC desk is really protecting the institution from, or why the person at the counter is its first line of defence. So the ramp-up gets paid for twice, once in salary and once in the supervision time of someone senior.
That gap is teachable. Teaching it is what we do.

A note from our founder
I spent more than 30 years inside Banking and Financial Services, including crucial roles at HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank. Again and again I saw the same gap - bright young people who knew the theory but had never seen how a Financial Institution Branch, a Credit Desk or a Payments Team actually works.
BankShaala is my answer to that gap. Every course is built the way I would teach a new colleague on their first day - plain language, real Indian examples, and the reason behind each rule, not only the rule.
Whether you are starting out or moving into BFSI, I would be glad to have you in class.

One platform. The whole BFSI universe.
BankShaala is a BFSI education and certification platform building careers across banking, financial services and insurance. It is a brand of BFSIJob Education LLP.
We run 11 courses covering the working functions of the sector: retail and rural banking, business and corporate lending, insurance and wealth management, financial technology, credit underwriting, and BFSI cybersecurity. Each sits at one of three levels, so you always know what comes before and what comes next.
Four things every course gets right.
Built from the job, not the textbook
Courses are built around what the work involves: what a credit officer checks before signing, how a letter of credit moves between four parties.
Jargon explained the first time
Every term is explained when it first appears. Nobody should need a dictionary to learn banking.
Indian and specific
A savings account at a PSU bank, a home loan file, a KYC counter. Real Indian situations, not abstract theory.
The reason behind each rule
We teach why a rule exists, not only what it says. That is what makes it stick on the job.

What we do not promise
We do not guarantee jobs, placements or interviews, and we think you should be cautious of anyone in this sector who does. What a course gives you is the working knowledge that makes you useful early rather than late. Students are certified upon successful completion of their courses, and over 100 institutions and organisations have expressed interest in hiring students certified by the platform.
That is an expression of interest in hiring, which is a real and useful thing. It is not a placement record, and we will not describe it as one.
Start where you are.
Foundational if you are new to the sector. Intermediate or Advanced if you are already in it.
