Refund and Cancellation Policy

When a course fee can be refunded, how to ask, and how long it takes.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

1. What this policy covers

This policy applies to course fees paid to BFSIJob Education LLP for any BankShaala course purchased through this website or the BankShaala learning portal.

We would rather you were on the right course than keep a fee from someone who is on the wrong one. The terms below are written in that spirit, and are also written clearly enough that nobody has to guess.

2. The cooling-off window

You may cancel and request a full refund within 7 days of your purchase, provided you have not consumed more than 20 percent of the course content.

Course consumption is measured by the lessons marked complete and the video watch time recorded in your account. We use that record rather than asking you to prove anything.

3. When a refund is not available

A refund will not be issued in the following situations.

  • More than 7 days have passed since the purchase.
  • You have completed more than 20 percent of the course content, whenever that happened.
  • A certificate has already been issued to you for the course.
  • Access was granted free of charge, under a scholarship, or as part of a promotional offer.
  • Access was withdrawn because of a serious breach of our terms, such as sharing your login or attempting to copy course material.

4. If something is wrong at our end

The window above is about changing your mind. It is not the limit of our responsibility.

If a course is not delivered as described, if the content is materially incomplete, or if a technical fault at our end prevents you from accessing what you paid for and we cannot resolve it in reasonable time, we will refund you in full regardless of the 7 day window or how much you have watched. Tell us what went wrong and we will look into it properly.

5. Duplicate and failed payments

If you are charged twice for the same course, or money is debited but access is not granted, write to us with the payment reference. We will verify it against our records and refund the full amount of the duplicate or failed transaction. This is not subject to any window.

6. How to request a refund

Send us a refund request through the contact page on this website, or from the support section inside your learning portal. Please include:

  • The email address registered on your BankShaala account.
  • The name of the course.
  • The payment reference or transaction ID.
  • A short explanation of why you are requesting the refund.

7. How long it takes

We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days and tell you our decision within 7 working days.

Where a refund is approved, it is processed back to the original payment method within 7 to 10 working days of approval. How quickly it then appears in your account depends on your bank or card issuer, which is outside our control.

Once a refund is approved, your access to that course ends and any progress record associated with it is closed.

8. Transfers instead of refunds

If you have simply chosen the wrong course, you do not have to cancel. Within the same 7 day window, you may ask to transfer to a different course instead. Where the new course costs more you pay the difference, and where it costs less we refund the difference.

A transfer can be requested once per purchase.

9. If you are not satisfied with our decision

If you disagree with the outcome of a refund request, reply to our response and ask for it to be reviewed. A second person will look at it. We would rather settle a disagreement ourselves than have you take it elsewhere.

This policy is provided for transparency and is not legal advice.
